Story
Sparkle with your fundraising activity this winter for St John and help support our volunteers continue their work in your communities
As we approach the end of the year, when family and friends are uppermost in all our thoughts, St John people are ready to be there, with compassionate care in their hearts. Being at the heart of your community we will continue supporting ambulances and hospitals across England. In various cities we will be providing extra assistance to those who need it, especially the elderly if they suffer a fall through our fall centres. This is how your St John will sparkle this winter.
Sparkle for us this winter by singing for St John
We need your help to bring some sparkle and carols to your communities this winter. Use your vocal chords to sing for St John. This is could be by hosting a carol concert, carolling in your local area or a virtual event. But it doesnt have to be limited to that, check out our fundraising pack for more sparkling ideas.
Share your sparkle and make a differencealongside our volunteers, without the efforts of supporters like yourself, St John simply could not continue to do what it does foryourcommunity.
How your sparkling fundraising can help:
£10 could help towards the cost of personal protective equipment for our volunteers
£25 could help towards a kit bag with the correct equipment to treat a patient
£40 could help towards the cost of a volunteers uniform
£100 could help train 1 volunteer for a year who will go on to support on average 12 people in a year.
Kitting out our volunteers Each of our clinical volunteers needs regular first aid training and lifesaving equipment. They may go on to develop specialist skills such as advanced first aid and emergency response driving.
Ready to step forward With the help of our supporters, we can ensure volunteers are on hand and equipped to provide first aid where theyre needed most.
Lifesaving training donations help us to teach people lifesaving first aid, and to ensure volunteers are on hand to provide first aid where theyre needed most.
