Body & Soul is a multi-award-winning charity whose aim is to transform the life-threatening effects of trauma and childhood adversity.

The impact of trauma is severe and pervasive: 1 in 3 diagnosed mental health conditions in adulthood and 5 of the top 10 causes of death are directly associated with trauma.

We provide support to multiple disadvantaged communities who have experienced complex trauma. Whether someone has been neglected or abused, stigmatised because of HIV or attempted suicide - we've helped liberate thousands of people from the trauma that controls them.

Our whole person and whole family approach addresses anything that might impact our members’ health and wellbeing all in one place from their physical and mental health to their most basic, existential, practical issues. Members have non-time-limited access to this support with all interventions embedded within an intentional, therapeutic community of peers that reduce social isolation and enrich their wider support networks.

Through our exhaustive and long-term approach, we disrupt the cycle of disadvantage our members face and help them to reach their full potential.
