At Suited for Success our mission is to level the playing field for unemployed people to realise their potential and regain employment. Thanks to an amazing bus donation from National Express, we are developing a new arm of our charity to take us on road. Our aspiration is to reach and support more unemployed people living in communities across Birmingham and the West Midlands that has some of the highest levels of unemployment in the country, helping people to access our charity's support to gain employment.

Our mission to impact unemployment

Still recovering from the covid pandemic unemployment crisis, the UK is now hit by a cost of living crisis seeing the price of food shopping, energy bills and the price of fuel sky rocketing with the unemployed being hit the hardest. Our mission is to help level the playing field and help unemployed people to realise their potential and gain employment.

The bigger picture

Suited for Success is based in central Birmingham in the West Midlands, we support the unemployed into employment through the FREE provision of one-to-one interview coaching, employment preparation also FREE interview and work clothing to ensure that first impression counts in a job interview and the first few weeks in a new job.

Birmingham has the highest claimant unemployment rate (12.4%) amongst the core cities and is well above the UK average (5.2%). Several areas across the city are experiencing some of the highest levels or unemployment in the country with the highest concentration in the inner-city areas or Birmingham where Suited for Success is located.

Employment changes lives

We help people to unlock their potential and start to move towards employment. Our coaching and FREE interview and work clothing support gives people the tools they need to begin their employment journey. So when they're ready to take that first step into the interview room or a new workplace, they're equipped with the skills and presentation to impress ensuring they look and feel the part ready to step into the rest of their life.
