Story
The Severfield Foundation is raising money for Martin House Children's Hospice, which provides family-led hospice care free of charge for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses.
We are aiming to raise £3,000 by carrying out the Severfield Skydive, and we have 13 volunteers taking part who need your support. The team will fly up to the altitude of 10,000 feet before jumping out of the plane, reaching speeds of over 120mph and covering 5,000ft in approximately 30 seconds, when an instructor will open the main parachute.
A donation to Martin House Children's Hospice could mean:
- £200 could pay for 50 subcutaneous cannulas with extension lines, allowing a child or young person to receive essential medicines for urgent symptom control or end-of-life care.
- £500 could fund one of our Parent Support Groups, giving mums and dads the chance to talk to others and know they are not alone.
The skydive will take place on Sunday 26th of March at 10:30 am, and we would love to reach our target before then, although donations will still be able to be made until Saturday, 1st of April.
Thank you in advance, and please feel free to share our Just Giving page!
