The Nhs is celebrating a big birthday in 2023

Our fundraising this year will go towards the general fund so it can be used where it is needed the most

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community we have been able to fund the purchase of a brand new state of the art CT Scanner to be used in the new Emergency Village at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

The possibility to increase the number of scans across the department means shorter waiting times for patients and a more streamlined pathway for acute patients needing time critical diagnosis. The new scanner also will be enabled to use very low radiation doses that will be perfect for our complex cardiac patients.

This scanner has cost £500k and this means our funds are now very low. We are asking our community to dig deep so we can replenish these funds so we can help all our patients when the need is at its greatest and unrestricted.
