Scot Baby Box Appeal requests donations of pre-loved Baby Boxes - provided by the Scottish Government to all newborns in Scotland - to be sent to Ukraine for new mums who were having to give birth in subways or basements of maternity hospitals due to the war breaking out - these boxes can be used as cribs and could be sent to Ukraine full of other essential aid items for newborns.
Scot Baby Box Appeal is a registered charity and has sent an unbelievable 4,000+ Baby Boxes to Ukraine along with several truckloads of humanitarian aid including food, medicine and other essential items to support families caught up in the escalating crisis, all thanks to the generosity of thousands of people all over Scotland (and beyond).
The Appeal also supports refugees relocating from Ukraine to local communities across Scotland by providing items to help them get the best start possible - these include clothing, shoes, prams, cots and buggies.
Our current campaigns focus on supporting Ukrainians though the harsh winter by providing cold weather essentials where they are needed most.
The Appeal has had no funding from local or national government agencies and relies 100% on its supporters; we are so grateful that you have taken the time to read our story; we'd really appreciate it if you could share it with your contacts to help spread the word and reach as many supporters as possible. Please do not confuse the appeal 'Scotland-Ukraine (Babyboxes and Beyond) 2023' as something that is linked with this charity. Scot Baby Box Appeal is a registered charity that fundraises separately to this organisation
Thank you for your support!
