Scope's Lockdown Legends

Do something epic. Fundraise this February.
Do something epic. Fundraise this February.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in Scope's Lockdown Legends. The challenge has now finished, but you can still support our Lockdown Legends with a donation.
Inspired by our new Chair, Robin Millar's epic cycling challenge, we launched Lockdown Legends and asked people to take on a fundraising challenge to support Scope in February. From hula-hooping to skipping, running to origami - people did some amazing things to get fundraising. Check out the fundraisers list on this page to see the wonderful ways people got involved!
Scope launched this campaign because over 14 million people in the UK are disabled and they have been amongst the hardest hit by Coronavirus. Scope is needed now more than ever. Our services are seeing unprecedented demand, our helpline is providing a listening ear and our online community is keeping people connected through lockdown.
But, the pandemic has been devastating. We have had to close all 195 of our shops, fundraising events have been cancelled and marathons postponed. As a result, our income has fallen by around £1.2 million a month during lockdown.
Huge thanks to everyone who got involved to support Scope's Lockdown Legends campaign and help us continue to be there for disabled people and their families during the pandemic and beyond.
