Help support the Scimitar Storm Sevens team in becoming trail blazers for elite sevens in the UK, through attendance at the Dubai Sevens in December 2021. This team majorly made up of current Loughborough University students and Alumni.

Scimitar Storm is an amateur rugby sevens team with hopes of paving the way to a professional sevens set-up for Women in the UK. In the first weekend of December we have entered a team in the Dubai Rugby Sevens, the biggest sevens tournament in the world. We are raising money to support the team's attendance in this competition, which in turn would allow the team to better prepare and aim for success in our first overseas tour.

We are looking to raise around £7000 to cover the cost of accommodation and tournament entry costs for the whole squad. We want to travel to the Dubai Sevens with hopes of winning the International Open tournament and setting a bench mark for our future performances.

Your gift will give our players the opportunity of a lifetime to represent Loughborough on an international stage. It will provide a transformative experience that will benefit our wider aspiration of promoting the inclusion of women in Rugby whilst raising the profile of the sport.
