Sailing for Schools
Do you wish you could have learned to sail when you were a kid?
At Helford River Childrens Sailing Trust we believe that sailing is for ALL. We want to give every child that 'I did it' moment, when they overcome challenges and gain the confidence to sail independently.
Helford River Childrens Sailing Trust teaches over 600 young people each year, providing RYA-qualified Instructors, training dinghies and safety equipment for lessons.
Many of those taking part wouldn't have this opportunity without the Trust-despite living close to the sea. Children are charged 30% of the full cost of each lesson and those that can't afford to pay attend free-of-charge. We need your help, so that those who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity, can become sailors.
