Canines for Disabled Kids

Scholarship Fund

Service dogs bring greater independence to many children living with a variety of disabilities. Training a service dog is expensive. There is no way around the reality of that. You can help make it a little easier for children and teens by donating.

Story

Service Dogs are expensive. This is something most people are confident in saying. Exactly how much each person will need to raise towards the training of their service dog varies a lot. For children and teens living with disabilities, the specific amount can feel out of reach, especially for families already stretched with other medical.

Scholarships offered by CDK or one ways families raise the funds needed.

CDK awards scholarships in January and June. All donations made to this Fund are restricted and are used only for scholarships.

Help bring independence one step closer to a child or teen by making a scholarship possible. Donate or become a fundraiser on this campaign and give the gift of greater independence.

Many children and their families have shared some of their stories and photos. You can read about many of the children who have received scholarships at https://caninesforkids.org/yearbook/
