Every year, about 735,000 Americans have a heart attack. The prevalence of this cardiac event alone is reason enough for the Institute to have a greater presence throughout the region. But the community also has needs beyond preventing and surviving heart attacks, which is why we are extending both the reach and capacity of our outpatient care. By creating new or renovating existing facilities, upgrading equipment and technology, and adding more physicians and support staff, we can deliver the best care possible to more of the regions residents.
