Jaguars are a threatened species along with many other amazing wildlife species living in the Costa Rican rainforest. Today we still are unaware of many of these animals and this is very dangerous as they are heading for extinction. Therefore, it is important for our project to tackle this issue through research and education. Your donations to this project will go towards a team of researchers who collect critical data daily as well as our education team who work in the community to build awareness and engagement.

Our research has helped us to understand how important the nature of their habitat is to turtles, jaguars and other endangered or critically vulnerable species. However, there is still so much that we don't understand. This is why our research is so important, so we can learn more to help protect and save all these incredible species. Alongside our research, we work with our environmental education team. They are committed to running outreach activities to engage the communities in the issues we face.

Through research and education we can help promote these amazing animals to the locals and help them take ownership in ensuring they are protected. This will not only impact our environment but will also create local income through regular tourism to visit these animals.
