Story
We must raise £3 million to save Royal Trinity Hospice.
The scale of the coronavirus crisis is unprecedented. Our 32 shops are closed. All fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed. Because of this, we are expecting a shortfall of £3m in our funding over the next three months. In our 129-year history, we have never faced such a time of intense difficulty
The stark reality is that the future of Trinity is at stake. Due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus we are facing dramatic cuts to the level of support and care we can offer. We are calling on all supporters and those in their local community to help ensure our survival. It is right that the NHS prioritises its resources to the containment of the virus and treatment of those who are the worst affected, but this means that turning to the health service for further financial aid is not an option.
In the coming months, our doctors and nurses will be needed more than ever as the NHS faces the biggest challenge it has ever seen. The population of 750,000 Londoners for whom they are the only provider of specialist end of life and palliative care will need their support and expertise. Without Trinity, there will be nowhere else for them to turn. Which is why we are turning to you now.
Through careful management and good governance, we have some contingencies, but these will not keep us open indefinitely. Please help today. Together we will get through this crisis and be there for our patients and their families for years to come.
Thank you for your vital support.
