Save our Pens!

No! we aren't trying to save biros :-) We mean the outdoor fenced sports space at the side of the school known as the pens (or Multi-use games area if you want official terminology)

The pens are in dire need of some refurbishment, particularly resurfacing in order to keep them safe for our kids to play games and sports as part of their PE lessons, after school clubs and free play time. They are so popular with the children that there is a rota giving each class their 'pen day'. They would be a huge loss to the school and children if we were unable to raise the funds for the refurbishment and they had to be closed.

The campaign is going to involve lots of fun events for the children to take part in, fundraising together in school and taking on personal challenges if they wish to raise extra money to support us.

Every single contribution no matter how big or small gets us one step closer to our target and to being able to save this most valuable resource for our children.
