Story
Katharine House Hospice is facing an uncertain future due to the financial impact of COVID19. The pandemic has had a major impact on our ability to generate funds as we had to cancel all of our fundraising events and we were forced to close our 22 shops.
As lockdown restrictions eased and our charity shops opened, there was some hope that this would enable us weather the loss of income due to COVID19. Unfortunately, now it is clear that the losses in fundraising and retail income are higher than expected and our future is now at risk.
We want to be here when you need us. We want to be able to continue to provide our vital care to patients living with a terminal illness and support their families through extremely difficult times. Please help us to raise £1,000,000 by January to help minimise the impact on our care services.
We need your help. We need people like you to come together and do whatever you can to support us. Every penny helps, please do your best.
Together we can continue to care.
