Story

Help Save The Iona School

Our school is renowned for its gentle and nurturing educational approach, is facing the real prospect of closure attributed to the Government’s proposed addition of VAT on private school fees.

The looming VAT changes have cast a big shadow of uncertainty over prospective parents.Your donation will ensure children can keep accessing quality education that emphasises creativity, confidence, and holistic development.

For 40 years, The Iona School has been nurturing young minds through our unique Waldorf education, fostering creativity, confidence, and holistic growth. The school prides itself on its commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, actively working with families to accommodate their individual financial circumstances. This collaborative approach ensures that every child, regardless of economic background, has the opportunity to experience the enriching education that Iona provides.

Without your support, deserving children may miss the opportunity to thrive in an environment that fosters their unique talents and abilities.

The Iona School needs your help and is calling on the community to support its mission to save The Iona School from closure and spread the word about the transformational benefits of its educational approach. The school remains open to dialogue with parents and guardians to explore all possible avenues for making enrolment feasible and will be running a series of open mornings throughout the summer holidays.

Donate today and be a part of a legacy that nurtures the potential in every child.
