Story

For the first time since The Happy Pants Ranch animal rescue charity began almost 7 years ago, the future of sanctuary is in danger, as it is being forced to relocate.

Over 300 animals currently have their forever home at the sanctuary, after being previously abandoned, abused, homeless or threatened with death. And over the past few years The Ranch has helped saved the lives of thousands, more needy animals, with a plan to continue doing this for hopefully many more years to come

However, unfortunately the sanctuary is losing the site it is currently located on and is having to find new premises, otherwise the 300+ animals that have a forever home here at at risk. Not only does it help save, rescue and rehabilitate animals but it's also a place of sanctuary for many people, who find a little slice of peace and happiness when visiting or volunteering at The Ranch.

So the charity must now raise enough funds to buy land to relocate the sanctuary to and secure its future, which is why we're asking for your help and support to do this. The £50,000 will allow the charity to purchase new land (minimum of 6 acres) and help go towards the cost of the move and any immediate development required on site, i.e. water, electricity, fencing and shelters etc.

Although it seems like a huge amount of money, if every person who followed The Ranch on social media pledged just £2 each, with 25,000 fans, the target would be easily met!

Ideally the land needs to be local, in North Kent, as The Ranch has a fantastic local presence and support network where it is currently in Sittingbourne. We have a fantastic team of Ranch Crew volunteers, support from local businesses, collaboratons with local schools, homeless shelters, mental health organisations and supermarkets, so to move from the area and lose this would be detrimental to the charity. However we're all willing to relocate to wherever the charity has to in order to Save The Ranch, so if it needs to be further a field, so be it.

Yes, its a big feat, but I believe its possible! This amazing little safe haven WILL be relocated so it continue helping needy animals and people! These animals and this sanctuary is my life, so Im not giving up without a fight and I truly believe it can be done. I wont let the charity be shut down, see these animals given up and not be able to give hope to the future animals that will need our help.. But I cant do it alone and need your help.

Even if you cant donate funds, you may be able to help by donating your time here volunteering, creating your own fundraiser, joining the save the ranch group on Facebook or even just sharing the ranch posts and campaign to help spread the word. Every little helps a LOT and you CAN make a difference!
