Story

We would like to encourage the next generation to carry on our mission of promoting traditional Jewish music, by raising £5000 for a scholarship fund to provide professional voice training for future gifted young soloists.

The Sandford family have generously donated to this fund in acknowledgement of the help and encouragement given to their son Rafi. our former young soloist, in bringing on his singing abilities throughout the duration of his time in the Choir.

Rafi Sandford says, "I wanted to give back and say thank you to the choir that supported me so much to develop my singing and we also wanted to help in a small way to assist training future boy soloists."

Our Patron Henry Grunwald OBE QC says, Rafi Sandford has developed so much by working with the choir as a young soloist and these choral scholarships are a wonderful initiative to enable others to do the same."

Our Patron Rabbi Shisler says, "For any youngster who loves singing this is a wonderful and rare opportunity to train and sing with one of London's leading choirs. It is a chance to gain skills that will enhance their musical knowledge that they will carry with them throughout their lives."

Please donate generously towards this worthy cause and help to preserve traditional Jewish music for the next generation.
