With your help, we can be there to provide vital care and support to children and adults with physical and learning disabilities in Dorset.
This five day trek covers 100km passing through Moroccos forbidding landscape punctuated by peaks, gorges, dunes and oases. At night, sleep under Africas star strewn skies and enjoy traditional Berber hospitality.
Taking place 16- 23 February 2020, you'll be in for a challenging, unforgiving, and life-changing experience. Check out Laura's blog here who took on the challenge in 2018.
Langside, the specialist school run by Dorset charity Diverse Abilities, has welcomed three-year-old triplets Harvey, Gabriel and Daniel with open arms.
All three boys have profound disabilities and life has been very hard for the family, but with Langside School's help this is now changing.
On 28 June 2015, and at only 26 weeks old, we saw the arrival of not just three, but four little guys that would change our lives forevermore - Bradley, Daniel, Gabriel and Harvey." - Rob Emery, father.
Sadly, little Bradley succumbed to a blood clot and left the family at just 16 days old. The family were left with a sore heart and no time to grieve as they had three warriors in hospital and two older children at home to care for.
With the boys starting Langside School at an early age, they have access to specialist equipment, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists which are all provided by the charity. This level of support is already helping the boys, giving them the greatest opportunity to positively impact their development.
Your donations change lives to so many families just like the Emery family - thank you.
