Story
In addition to providing supported living homes and housing support across Leeds for people who have fallen through the net, Caring For Life has always offered therapeutic activities at Crag House Farm, the charity's base. The farm, as well as providing a place of safety and social opportunities, also helps people develop a constructive lifestyle. For many people over the years, the farm has simply become home; it's where they belong.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Caring For Life sadly had to stop all therapeutic project activities. Despite all the ongoing support, phone calls and online activities, that crucial lifeline was gone.
We look forward to the day when we can open up our doors once again, but in order for us to do that, the health and safety of our beneficiaries and staff is of utmost importance. To make this a reality, we need to buy personal protective equipment such as hand sanitiser dispensers & stands, masks, gloves, cleaning products and so forth.
We estimate the cost of all these items could be up to £5,000.
We would love if you, our support groups, would consider fundraising or donating towards this cause, so that we can bring people home to the farm, as soon as it is safe for them to return.
