Story

Manuel is just eight years old and lives in Angola. He loves football and playing with his friends. He lost his leg when a bomb he was playing with exploded. His friend Jeremy and his two brothers Antonio and Mario were also seriously injured. Frederico, aged 10, was killed.

HALO works around the world to make land safe and prevent devastating accidents like Manuel's but we need your support to reach more vulnerable children and families. HALO's Salisbury Plain 34km sponsored walk will raise vital funds to remove the landmines and bombs for good and create SAFE STEPS for all.
