Robert was born in Poole and led an accomplished life; he was a self-made man who achieved many of his ambitions through hard work and determination.

Through legacy and donation he was able to leave a tangible asset that would benefit the community for many years to come.

Robert wanted to help those, like him, faced with the challenge of cancer. By establishing The Robert White Legacy Fund he has already enabled a number of projects to progress that will make a real difference for the cancer patients of Dorset.

Donations will be used for the additional items not readily available from the NHS. This will be small items to make the path of a cancer patient easier and larger equipment that will ensure that Dorset is a beacon of excellence in Cancer care.
