Story
The picture shows E caring for one of the dairy goats which we have introduced into the Alivera Village that provides work experience for young people with disability.
Apart from the small farm, the village has a restaurant, and workshops for shoemaking, sewing, knitting, craft and hairdressing.
Youngsters are graduating from our village and finding paid employment in the community, something that has always been difficult in the past.
We like to be breaking new ground, helping people to understand disability better and to see that with the right kind of support young people with disability can complete schooling and training and go on to lead full and independent lives.
The dairy goats are new, too, and will provide nourishing milk for poor families.
