Story
Run The Wall
2nd November marks the 107th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, when the UK government decided to support the formation of a Jewish state in the historic land of Palestine, regardless of the wishes of the Palestinians who lived there.
So, what better weekend is there to Run The Wall for Palestine?
What is Run The Wall?
Run the Wall is an annual event, which was originally set up in 2021 when we couldn't travel to take part in the Palestine Marathon due to covid-19. Since then we've held Run The Wall every year at the same time as the Palestine marathon, so that thousands can take part in solidarity across the globe on the same weekend as those running in Bethlehem.
It has been an amazing three days. It has confirmed how many people worldwide hold our brothers and sisters in Gaza and the West Bank in their hearts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This Autumn, we are holding an extra Run The Wall, in light of the urgent situation in Palestine.
Run The Wall, Autumn 2024
This November (1-3rd), thousands will be taking part to run, walk, cycle, and swim anything between 5-55km for Palestine.
We are Running The Wall...
-As an act of solidarity
-As a call for an end to Palestinian dispossession
-To demand an end to Israel’s war on Gaza
-To urge the new UK Government to recognise the Palestinian state
The most important thing is taking part in solidarity, but those who can are also fundraising for our emergency appeal for Gaza and the West Bank.
The population in Gaza is experiencing a humanitarian disaster. Over 40,000 people have been killed, including 15,000 children and over 100,000 have been injured, leaving 10,000 with amputations. 2 million people have been displaced with little or no access to food, water fuel and sanitation. Communities in the West Bank are facing increased settler and military violence, home demolitions, and dispossession of land.
Our emergency appeal is to:
• provide emergency food aid
• heal shattered lives through medical care and psychological support with our partner NECC,
• support young Gazan journalists from We Are Not Numbers, to tell their story
• allow the Gaza Sunbirds para cyclists to represent Palestine on a global stage
• to support Palestinian communities on the West Bank that face settler and military violence.
