The last two years has impacted on us all and in many different ways. Children have had less opportunity to be involved in physical activities because of the restrictions that have been in place.

Now that we are slowly coming out of the pandemic, King's Cross Academy is focused on creating opportunities for children to have more physical activity at school. All children participate in a daily mile of exercise, our football teams are doing great along with our tennis teams that have recently won school trophys and awards in Camden. This term we created and performed our own choreographies together with The Place Dance Company.

As part of a charitable event organised by Run Kids Run, King's Cross Academy children and parents will be taking part in a 2km sponsored fun run to raise funds. Our little runners are seeking sponsorship for their efforts to complete the 2k course. The funds collected will be used to create opportunities across the academy for all children to be more physically active.

To help our cause, we have secured sponsorship from from Kings Cross Estate, The Standard Hotel and Google, who are generously donating match funding so whatever we raise, it will be matched pound for pound!

We understand that, with the cost of living, things are difficult for many families at the moment, whatever you can give, however small or large, will be appreciated, every penny will go towards supporting the school and the children.
