Story
St Petrock's is Exeter's local homelessness charity, based in Cathedral Yard.
This is a beautiful city but it sadly also has one of the highest levels of homelessness in the country, which has roughly doubled in the past 12 months.
The ongoing cost of living crisis has meant that more people than ever in and around Exeter are at risk of being made homeless. We're receiving more calls than ever too, from people anxious about being unable to pay their bills.
We provide hot food and drinks twice a day to people who are homeless, as well as clothing, laundry, showers, sleeping bags, help to access healthcare and mental health support, assistance to find housing, claim benefits and so much more.
We also provide accommodation for people with nowhere to call home and are actively looking to purchase more properties in the coming months.
We rely on our wonderful community for over 70 per cent of our funding and we would love it if you were able to raise money for people without a home in Exeter, while keeping super fit!
If you'd like to donate regularly, you can do so here.
Thank you so much.
