Orbis has been fighting trachoma, a highly contagious infectious cause of blindness, in Ethiopia for over 20 years. In 2020, the global pandemic temporarily halted Orbis's work and threatened to undo two decades of progress. Just like COVID-19, trachoma is highly contagious and spreads quickly. And like COVID, trachoma must be stopped before it gets even worse.

In December, Orbis launched a large-scale, door-to-door drug administration programme to restart the fight against trachoma. Through supporting the ACS RUN 20/20 challenge, you will help keep this critical work going and ensure we continue the fight against this devastating, but entirely preventable disease.
