Story
The Charity's reliance on income from voluntary donations and fundraising events remains vital to the future of local Hospice care. The soaring costs of energy and living could have a devastating impact on us and many other Hospices across the UK, and the people we care for. Collectively, we face more than £100 million in additional costs this year alone!
Rowans Hospice receives a very small level of statutory support from the Government, however, almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through legacies, individual donations, fundraising events, the Charity's lottery and our Retail shops.
By taking part in the Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon and 'Running for Rowans', you will be directly supporting the delivery of our services now and into the future.
