This years IWD theme is Embrace Equity. Each one of us can actively support and embrace equity within our own sphere of influence.
Noun: Equity
The quality of being fair and impartial. "equity of treatment"
Equity means creating a fair and equal world.
At RSVP, embrace equity every day by providing specialist, trauma informed services that embrace diversity, inclusion and do not discriminate. Our specialist services have been developed over 40 years and ensure that every survivor that comes to RSVP is given the very best of our services, regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation or background. This includes our adult and children's counselling and ISVA services and specialist support for members of the LGBT+ Community, Refugee and Asylum seekers and sex workers.
Forging gender equity isn't limited to women solely fighting the good fight. Allies are incredibly important for the social, economic, cultural, and political advancement of women.
