Story
Over the next few weeks, pupils will complete 2.6 miles in their PE lessons as part of the Mini London Marathon School Challenge in aid of our ongoing fundraising for school resources.
Last years event raised just over £4k, an incredible amount which funded much needed technology for another one of our clasrooms.
Our fundraising provides our pupils with resources that the School Budget simply cannot afford. Our Local Authority is one of the lowest funded in the country, and within this, Romiley Primary is one of the lowest funded schools, receiving around £300 less per pupil than the Stockport average. This equates to over £140,000 less per year than the average Stockport school.
Every single penny raised makes a difference to our pupils and school staff.
