Hi everyone! My name is Rick Patel and I'm honored to be one of eight men GEAUXING GRIZZLY, presented by GMFS Mortgage, in November. The guy who raises the most money for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge will be named the 2021 Grizzliest Guy. Why am I supporting Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center?

Life is precious and to have it affected by Cancer that is not in our control and turns our life upside down by surprise and requires the support of an Organization (Mary Bird) that is consistently making strides in treatment in the War against Cancer and is focused on the well being of their patients and their families and making their journey to recovery as comfortable as possible. This is the reason that Supporting Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is important to me.

My Father was diagnosed with Liver Cancer on March 16, 2020, and the news was heartbreaking, but our spirits were strong and he was able to get a Liver and Kidney Transplant and has made a full recovery since.
