A group of enthusiastic members of the Rotary Club of Leicester Impact Group are raising funds for Love4Live. This brave group of volunteers will be taking on an 80ft abseil on Sunday 1st October in the Peak District! You can show your support by donating to this JustGiving page right now. Each member has decided to do this challenge for various reasons and a few have decided to share why.
"I decided to take part to challenge my fear of heights. I am truly terrified of heights so this will be an epic challenge. Doing this as a group will be brilliant, we can support each other to get through it. The work Love4Life does is very personal to me, I too went through various difficulties as a young person and wished this support had been available to me then", Diana.
"These girls have so much to face up to during their formative years, both hopes and fears. So me facing up to one of my fears, to help Love4life help them, pales into insignificance", David.
" I haven't done anything since I took part in the charity Wolf Run before Covid. I thought it would be a great way to give back and do something worthwhile", Karen.
Love4Life empowers young people aged 11-18 to build confidence and make positive choices in their health, relationships, and education. They provide group & individual support in schools and the community across the East Midlands.
