Story
On Saturday 24th August I will be cutting off my long waist length hair and donating it to the Little Princess trust, a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer’.
I will then be shaving the rest of my hair off and donating the money raised from the shave to Forever Hounds Trust, a charity very close to my heart. This is what this fundraiser is for. I adopted Bandit from Forever Hounds Trust back in early 2019. She was one of eight puppies that arrived into the charities care. They were affectionately known as the Veggie Pups thanks to their names - Asparagus, Aubergine, Avocado, Brocolli, Leek, Lentil, Okra and Yam (Bandit's name was changed on adoption).
Please do give generously to this fundraiser so more dogs can enjoy the second chance at life that Bandit and her litter mates have.
On the day of this fundraiser, the shave, we are having a mini dogs day out at the pub - The Alhampton Inn, Shepton Mallet. there will be a FUN dog show, a Forever Hounds Trust stand selling merchandise with some fun activities for the dogs such as sausage bobbing. There will also be a display from the Avon and Somerset police dogs.
The dog show to start at 12.30pm but entries from 11.30am. Hair cut and head shave at 4pm.
Please do come along to support two great charities and also support the award winning community local pub The Alhampton, Shepton Mallet, BA4 6PY.
This page is for the head shave only and money raised from this will go to Forever Hounds Trust.
