Story

Rockinghorse are currently working with Chalkhill Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit to provide activities and home comforts to young people during their stay and this is what the fundraising from A Midsummer Night's iDrop will be going towards.

Chalkhill is a specialist mental health hospital for children and young people up to the age of 18, based on the Princess Royal Hospital site in Haywards Heath. The service, which is provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, offers mental health treatment and support for young people who are experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties, such as depression, eating disorders and psychosis. 1 in 10 young people in the UK aged 5-16 suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder thats around three children in every school class.

Through the fundraising at this event, we want to make sure that these young people get the support they need when having treatment for their mental health.
