At Nottinghamshire YMCA, we believe that, regardless of background, all young people should have access to positive learning and social environments to help them develop in a safe space and go on to make the best decisions in life.
As a regional charity promoting healthy living, youth development and social responsibility through our housing, gym, children and young peoples programmes, we provide housing services to support homeless young people and vulnerable adults across Nottingham, Mansfield and Goole (East Riding of Yorkshire), plus deliver a residential Settled Care provision offering emergency accommodation for at risk children. Membership at our 24-hour YMCA gym in Nottingham city centre helps support these vital programmes and services.
The charity also runs affordable childcare services (term-time and school holidays) along with young peoples programmes (such as Camp Williams, Adventure Guides and YMCA Digital). As such, Scholarship opportunities are available for families who cannot cover the cost of YMCA day camps to ensure every child has the same chance as their peers to grow and fulfil their potential.
