OUR STORY:

Robert's road to recovery began after a drowning accident left him with an anoxic brain injury. He could no longer walk, talk, eat by mouth or do any of the things he could before his drowning. Our family was not given much hope of him even waking up.

We began this road by reaching out to Dr. Paul Harch and moving to New Orleans for two months to get Robert HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy). The result was amazing. Our little boy straightened out (his back was in a backwards C-shape), woke up and left with a grin on his face. This was just the beginning.

We have pursued many other therapies that we believe have brought Robert to where he is today. None of these therapies are covered by insurance - Stem cells, MNRI, Functional Neurology, Fish oil and other supplements. Robert is completely mouth fed and had his G-tube removed in June of 2019. He has lots of words in his vocabulary - Dada (his favorite), Mama, Bella, no, I want, and don't. He gets around by scooching on his behind but he stands up so strong that we know that walking is coming!
