Unrestricted funds are important for all departments within the Robbins College of Business & Entrepreneurship. These departments include -- Applied Business Studies; Economics, Finance and Accounting; Management; and Informatics. The funds allow for flexibility to fund several opportunities, resources and assist in developing students into becoming business professionals. The uses for unrestricted funds pay for extra-curricular activities for students and faculty, such as:

- Study abroad trips

- Academic conferences

- Student travel for business competitions

- New technologies

- Capital improvements

- Workshops and other various types of activities
