Visit the charity's profileWE DID IT!!!! We joined forces to raise some important funds for an innovative new Sports Campus that is going to be a game-changer for the physical and mental health of our local community....
We are a group of Royal Latin School parents, staff and alumni, and on 10th July 2021, we tackled the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge!
We are each hoping to raise £500 for our efforts, and together make a significant contribution to the Sports Campus fundraising target. Thank you for supporting us.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is a demanding trekking challenge, which includes over 1,700m of ascent and takes in the summits of the three highest peaks of the Yorkshire Dales: Peny-ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m/2,372 ft).
The challenge was to complete the 25 mile trek within 12 hours - and we did, including a member of our team who covered the distance in self isolation by going up and down his stairs and around his garden at home! Your support will make all the difference and help to make our aching legs feel a bit better! Thank you!
