Red Kite Family Centre is a community-based charity dedicated to supporting the families and carers of children aged 0-5 in the surrounding area.
From our sites in Thame and Chinnor, we offer a broad-ranging programme of play groups, activities, courses, and advice which provides an essential lifeline of help and encouragement to our users encompassing every aspect of their early years journey.
We also offer one to one support to families in the form of parenting advice, help with filling out forms such as disability living allowance and school applications, confidential access to domestic violence services, support with job applications, access to food banks and referrals to other services.
Our motto is 'Being there for every Family' and with every donation from this fundraiser, you can help secure our financial future, ensuring our work can reach more families.
I have ADHD so was always made to feel like an out cast when meeting new people and struggles to make friends but the Red Kite Centre has supported and made me feel more than welcome they are family to me and A. I have met so many amazing kind caring people here and they made making friends so easy and seamless for me.
The Red Kite Family Centre (Thame) is invaluable and offers services. I simply cannot find elsewhere. I have met other parents through the centre and this among other things connected to the centre, has been a huge benefit for my mental health. The centre deserves much more support.
