Story
This August saw the anniversary of the loss of our much loved CEO of over 30 years, Marjolein De Vries, a local legend who worked tirelessly for people with learning disabilities and autism, their parents and siblings. Dedicated to her work she was an inspiration for many, and shortly after being diagnosed with cancer she passed away knowing she was loved, respected and had made a difference to our families and our community.
We have dedicated our 55th anniversary year to her.
Rise - you helped us run our summer activities
Thanks to all your generous donations we reached our £10,000 initial target which helped us run our summer activities this year. We believe that the year ahead, our 55th anniversary year, is FULL of hope and a fresh start for our charity. We are rising up from this sad and hard time to raise funds for Kith & Kids upcoming projects and services.
Shine - celebrate our 55th anniversary year by helping us raise £55,000
We now have new leadership in our CEO Nicole Francis and are looking forward aiming for a new children's project for those we support. We know we will thrive and become even more embedded in our local community, shining brightly by the end of the anniversary year. No one likes a celebration more than Kith & Kids and 55 years is worth celebrating! Right?
