Story
This incredible four day hike along Britain's oldest road covers 80 miles, following a route used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers.
The team of walkers will pass breathtaking views including historic sites such as Uffington White Horse and Grimms Ditch and finish at Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury to mark this amazing achievement for an amazing Hospice. The group will have to challenge themselves to making the miles each day, motivated by raising much needed funds to keep the Hospice running.
They are inspired by the care and support given to patients and families by Florence Nightingale Hospice in Buckinghamshire. They are walking to raise money for a Hospice hit by the impact of Covid-19 and to ensure the Hospice can continue to support families when they need it the most, and to provide palliative and end of life care to the highest standard possible.
