Story
If we are to deliver the very best care possible for our patients, when our hospital continues to be extremely busy and colleagues are working exceptionally hard, we must do everything we can to support their health and wellbeing. As Chair of our hospital's Health and Wellbeing Committee, I remain most grateful to all who have and continue to contribute. CHIEF NURSE, NIC KANE
On the 5th July 2023, the NHS celebrates its 75th birthday. Treating over 1.3 million people across the country every day, it is a source of pride, gratitude and love for so many, caring for us no matter who we are or where we are from.
As demands on our NHS grow, the extra support that NHS charities, like ours, provide has become increasingly important. Together with you, our local community and our hospital staff, we improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people at Kingston Hospital every year.
On the weekend of 25-26 February, Kingston Wheelers cycling club launched Ride for 75. Local cyclists took to the roads, or jumped on their turbo trainers, and rode 75 miles. We now challenge you to jump on your bike and ride 75 miles or do your own thing - such as grab a Boris bike around Richmond Park. Whatever you do, simply create your own fundraising page and tell everyone what you are doing, by linking to this campaign and pressing the 'Start Fundraising' above. Thank you.
