To mark FireFit Youth and Community Hub celebrating it's 10 year anniversary, we are hosting an exciting 'Retro Sports Day' event.

We've been calling upon businesses to join our classic sports day which includes all the typical retro games and activities with a few fun twists along the way!

While you might not be one of the teams taking part in the games, we appreciate and welcome donations from everyone who would like to help us reach the ambitious fundraising target of £10,000 towards the important youth services being delivered at FireFit Youth and Community Hub, the cornerstone of Torus Foundation.

As the charitable arm of growth and regeneration group, Torus, Torus Foundation is proud to provide a varied programme of support for some of the country's most disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

FireFit Youth and Community Hub is a place where young people feel safe and secure, have a sense of belonging, feel trusted, respected and listened to.

As a result of the current cost of living crisis, Torus Foundation made the decision to help reduce some of the stress for families, by removing all entrance fees for young people accessing facilities at FireFit and to also provide free hot food to the young members attending sessions.

Since introducing the support, the team have been engaging with 145 young people on average each night, as well as welcoming people from the wider community to the Hub's Warm Hub sessions.

Thanks to your generous donations, we can continue to provide even more young people with access to free activities at FireFit and grow stronger communities.
