Story
The Restart Alpine Challenge is the 'rugby' trek of a lifetime.
This year our team of fundraisers will be heading to the Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy with our trustee and former player Ed Jackson for an extraordinary challenge in aid of Restart.
During the 3-day trek through the beautiful and remote valleys, the team will be sleeping in mountain refuges as they head further into the mountains. The challenge will culminate on the final day, as the team prepare to summit Mont Taou Blanc standing at 3,438 meters... more than double the height of Ben Nevis!
Together we aim to raise a significant sum for Restart's work supporting professional rugby players suffering from serious illness, injury or hardship. Restart is there to provide players and their families with financial, practical and emotional support during difficult times, including help with medical treatment, rehabilitation and counselling. The Alpine Challenge will raise vital funds to enable Restart to be there for players when they need us the most.
With thanks to the Alpine Challenge event organisers and expert guiding team, CHX Challenge.
