Story

After successfully fundraising for their own expedition to Antarctica the REQUEST2021 team have set up the REQUEST FUND to help carry on the legacy and ethos of the project. The aim is to inspire other young people in Scouting and Girlguiding to keep up the important work on Peace, Environment and Heritage lessons to be learned from the polar regions.

Kent Scouts is one of the largest Scouting counties in the UK. Giving adventure to 17,000 young people and 6,000 adults across Kent. We are an umbrella organisation to the Scout Association of the UK operating in the Local authorities of Kent County Council and Medway Council. Meeting the aims of the Scout Association within these areas. The Kent County Scouts Council (Kent Scouts) Headquarters (County Office) is based at Lower Grange Farm and provides support for the Charity, its Trustees and supporting Scouting within Kent and Medway.
