Story
The Renegades Youth Club was set up by two dads not finding the kind of fun and different activities and experiences they wanted for their children, and being determined to do something about it.
Now, nearly five years on, the club is thriving with 175 members and operating five days a week. But the pandemic has badly affected kids and their social interaction - especially in very rural areas like West Sussex - and we know we can help more if we could just become more mobile.
So, the Renegades Youth Club and its young members desperately need your help to combat rural isolation, and to deliver exciting and creative activities and experiences to the widest number of children across West Sussex. We need a minibus which we can use to transport the children to the nightly activities, to go on camps and outings and to operate as a mobile youth club.
We have a big and exciting vision. We want to modify the minibus to make it the biggest attraction to the children possible so we want to add:
- canopies on either side to create all-weather rooms where different activities can be going on at the same time
- outdoor cinema screens and projectors
- a roof-rack, winch and tow bar
- broadband so that we can include gaming
- dashcams for safety
- branding for the minibus
All that, plus insurance, servicing and safety checks, takes money and we simply can't do it without your help. Please dig deep and know that you are helping children have the best childhood they can.
