We're also raising money to help Miecah who is fighting A.L.L (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) Below is his mums story:
"On may 25th myself and Freddie are taking part in a boxing match and have decided to support my nephew Miecah through his 3.5 year battle with cancer. All profit from our ticket sales will be donated to him in hope that he will be able to go to Disneyland and do the things he would love to do.
After being admitted to hospital on the 23rd of December with a suspected bone infection in his leg, a emergency operation on Christmas eve and Christmas spent on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks to fight an infection that in long run was found to not be the problem. 3 year old Miecah was then discharged on Monday 4th of February and by the Thursday was once again admitted into hospital due to pain in his leg, arm and a swelling on the eye. Fast forward to Wednesday 13th of February and his family received the dreaded news that Miecah had A.L.L (acute lymphoblastic leukaemia).Throughout all his time in hospital all the symptoms were that of leukaemia however his bone marrow he had 10 days before all clear. A blood test days before the diagnosis shown something in the bloods and a further blood test then confirmed. He was to start treatment immediately the following day. When results of a second bone marrow came back his body was over 90% covered in leukaemia cells. Miecah is now on treatment for the next 3.5 years. Regardless of this his cheeky smile has remained throughout all the poking and proding, needles, operations and chemotherapy. When his mum explained that he had poorly blood and as a result of this needed medicine and his hair would come out he clenched his fist and cheered that he would finally have a baldy head that he has wanted for so long. He wanted a haircutting party for everyone to come watch him have his long curls cut off, as soon as he looked in the mirror he beamed with happiness. Miecah is now entering block 3 of treatment and should hopefully come to the end of the intense 6 months of treatment at the end of august, just in time for him to start school. He will then receive further treatment for the 3 years after that. The strength and courage him and his family have shown through his battle so far is inspiring and we want try help keep that cheeky smile on his face throughout the remainder of his treatment by raising money for the little solider"
