Story
Pakistan is being devastated by severe flooding
Record-breaking floods have hit Pakistan, affecting over 33 million people. Many have left their homes with little or no belongings, desperately seeking safety on higher ground. Families have lost their homes, livelihoods, and in some cases loved ones.
More than 1,400 people have been killed.
The humanitarian situation is dire, and could get even worse as flood waters move to more low-lying areas. This could result in more people being forced out of their homes, more damage, and more pressure on the areas where people are seeking safety.
