Supporting GLAAD is more important than ever! Equality for the LGBTQ community is back on the table, and now the work begins to RECLAIM OUR GROUND!

GLAAD has worked tirelessly to hold the Trump Administration accountable, and this critical work continues. In the coming weeks, we will:

-Passing the Equality Act to fully protect LGBTQ people from discrimination

-Ensuring Georgia is allowed a fair and equal election

-Reversing the transgender military ban so all Americans can serve their country

-Ending the broad use of religious exemptions which are used to discriminate

-Increasing representation of trans people on TV and film so everyone can see our trans siblings as fully-rounded people and not character tropes

-Partnering with corporations to ensure they show their support beyond Pride month

We are entering a critical time in our movement. We must reclaim our ground swiftly and definitively. GLAAD will be here fighting to ensure that LGBTQ people and stories continue to be part of the national narrative. Together, I know that we will succeed.

At this critical moment, GLAADs Board of Directors has launched a Leadership Fund that will match all contributions to the organization up to $250,000 now through December 31st.
