Due to the COVID-19 virus all 500 groups closed in March 2020. This meant vital and crucial income required to sustain our day to day operations was no longer being secured. This income supports approx. 4000 loyal horses and ponies who still need feed, hay, and care.

The RDA COVID-19 Emergency Fund Appeal was launched to allow us to direct funds to those groups most in need. Whilst redirecting existing money to this appeal wherever possible, we still needed your help to make our efforts go further, to ensure as many groups as possible could open their doors again when this crisis is over.

Your help has been vital in enabling RDA UK provide this support. Moving forward in response to supporting our groups restart after lockdown, we are now launching our new fundraising campaign, which will bring this campaign to a close. The new campaign will raise money for the RDAs Resilience Fund and will enable us to develop and deliver practical solutions for our member groups to help them respond, rebuild and recover in light of the changing nature of COVID-19.
